Digital Artist Post: K3

K3 is an abstract digital media artist. He manages to juggle his occupation as a physics engineer and his love of digital media. Most of his artwork comes from when he sleeps. Being of scientific and artistic mind his dreams meld the two together to create dreams lush with the two. Now he puts those dreams into reality with his art.
His art was a wide variety of colors and is 3D. He takes a typical scientific setting and turns it artistic by adding fantastic objects and lines to it. The abstraction comes in with the fact that one can tell that it is obviously scientific material but he takes out any possible clues as to what it might be. Instead having just the various rainbow colored tubes and lines connecting to one another.
Being one of the top 20 digital artists in China there is little room for critique on many of his works. My only thought would be that he stays in his comfort zone. All his works look interchangeable. While they are perfect for what they are I would love to see him go outside and make some darker images.
